Sunny citrus scorpion

This little sweet scorpion was inspired by all things citrus... and egg. Everything citrus?

She was painted on a 3D-printed base made by @Sunflowerpetshop on Instagram. Sunny was kind enough to send me a few to test out painting them and I am a fan! If you are interested in getting some bases for yourself. Sunny is re-opening her shop later in January B)

To keep the custom in tip-top shape, handle it gently and keep it away from direct sunlight, moisture, and dirt. The custom is not suitable for rough play and it should not be handled by young children.

The custom was created using high-quality acrylic paints and sealed with Liquitex matte varnish. The eyes are finished with Liquitex heavy gloss varnish for a glossy effect. A coat of transparent, sugar-like glitter was applied and sealed with a glue-and-water mixture. Some glitter might come off when handling the custom despite my attempts at sealing everything well. That is the nature of glitter. Pesky pesky glitter.
